Featuring local restaurants Alma Nove, Fuji, Montilio’s Baking Company, Novara and Trident, among others, Mullaney’s Fish Market will host a waterfront raw bar and a signature cocktail will be served. A short program will feature Mentors from the empowerHER Mentorship Program to share with guests how this influential program has helped more than 130 girls, across Massachusetts, feel safe and inspired despite a devastating loss. Money raised throughout the evening will support the ongoing development and expansion of this influential endeavor, which has grown 120% year over year, to help even more girls in the coming year.

“When a young girl loses her mother, the loss doesn’t end there. Beyond initial grief, it becomes an ongoing challenge for a young girl to navigate adolescence and know how to grow into a woman without a mother’s guidance,” said Ann Marie Leitao, mentor, empowerHER. “As mentors in the empowerHER program, we are given the unique opportunity to serve as a reminder to young girls that they are not alone in their grief. The funds raised through our annual soiree allow us to grow this life-changing endeavor to inspire and support even more girls around the country."
